Makita has designed the XRJ08 to be a compact one-handed reciprocating saw weighing in at only 5.5 lbs. with battery (sold separately ) and only 14-3/8” long. Equipped with a powerful brushless motor delivering 0 - 3,100 strokes per minute combined with a 7/8” stoke length for up to 55% faster cutting. On a single charge of a 5.0Ah battery this saw can cut up to 90 cut in 2x10 lumber, and 50 cuts in 1” schedule 80 steel pipe.
